Jay Turner

Jay Ivan Turner, 61, of Borger, died Tuesday March 17, 2009, in Borger. Mr. Turner had been a resident of Borger for 25 years.

Jay was born April 5, 1947, in Greeley, Colo. to Russell and Alice Turner. He married Beverly Hunt January 3, 1976 in Borger.

He is survived by his mother, Alice Hoffner, of Nunn, Colo.; his wife, Beverly Turner of Borger, Texas; daughter Traci Bergum of Greely, Colo.; a brother, John Turner and wife Paula of Greely,Colo.; one sister, Judi DeVore and husband, Dennis of Grand Junction, Colo.; two brothers-in-law, Bill Hunt and wife, Karen of Borger, Texas; John Hunt and wife, Lynne of Toole, Utah. Jay was preceded in death by his father, Russell Turner.

Private services will be held for Mr. Turner in Nunn, Colorado. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Humane Society or favorite charity.
