Janice Lee Wheeler

Janice Lee Wheeler, 82, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024.

Services will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Janice was born March 27, 1942, in Shamrock, Texas to Robert Lee Milum and Evelyn Louise Short Milum. She married Ed Wheeler on April 2, 1960, in Borger. Janice and Ed were lifelong members of the Elks Lodge. She enjoyed listening to George Strait, traveling, fishing, and playing Bingo. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Evelyn Milum; husband, Ed Wheeler; and sister, Betty Jo Yake.

Survivors include her son, Shawn Wheeler of Stinnett; grandchildren, Ashton Reece Wheeler, Kasey Renee Wheeler; nieces, Michelle, Rhonda; nephews, Gary, Terry; and a host of extended family.
