James David True

James David True, 90 passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023, at home surrounded by his family. Memorial services will be 2 pm on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Minton Memorial Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

James was born September 4, 1933, in Hollis, Oklahoma to James Kelly and Lois (Massy) True. He worked as a butcher, baker, and a truck driver. He married Doris Faye Burris on April 16, 1954, in Portales, NM. He loved playing golf, boxing, and baseball.

Preceding him in death are his parents, wife, son David Allen True, four brothers and a granddaughter Carla Largent.

Surviving is his son Gary of Borger and a granddaughter Amber Largent.
