James Prock

James Willie Prock, 87, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023.

Graveside services will be held 10 am on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

James was born March 29, 1936, in Dodd, Texas to James Cecil Prock and June Anderson Prock.  He worked in the construction business for 43 years.  He married Dorothy Edmonds on April 5, 1958, in Vernon, Texas.  James enjoyed watching westerns, skeet shooting and fishing.  He enjoyed being on the lake and of late his favorite pastime was to sit on the porch and watch the cars pass by.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and June Prock; and son-in-law, David Wilkinson.

Survivors include wife of 65 years, Dorothy Prock; sons, Alvin Prock and wife Elissa, James (Randy) Prock and wife Patti; daughters, Carolyn Wilkinson, Shelia Dixon and husband Randy; grandchildren, Michael Prock, Jared Prock, Alissa Beecher, Jeremy Cook, Bret Cook, Derrick Dixon, Joshua Prock, Brandi Hawes, Mick Atkins; great grandchildren, Emily Prock, Abby Prock, Travis Prock, Haley Scott, Aliyah Scott, Justin Scott, Cameron Prock, Jackson Prock, Cady Prock, Aspyn Prock, Eli Prock, Jaycee Cook, Zoey Cook, Sophie Cook, Kaiden Smith, Addy Smith, Justin Cook, Kimberly Cook, Braylan Dixon, Kendali Martin, Lee Scott; great-great grandchildren, Rowan Prock, Braxton Nivens, Ariana Scott; brothers, Clint Prock, Cecil Ray Prock; sisters, Anne Mare Dale Correra, Eva Lee Rolf; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
