James Oliver Phillips, 64, died Thursday, April 24, 2008 in Amarillo, Texas.BRBRGraveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Westlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMr. Phillips was born on April 12, 1944 in Mt. Enterprise, Texas. He was a graduate of Tucson Medical School and was a surgical technician for hospitals. He served in the US Navy in Viet Nam and was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.
