Jack Stoney Glover

Jack Stoney Glover, 78, of Fritch, Texas, passed away on September 26, 2026.

Jack was born on November 30, 1948, in Dumas, Texas, and grew up around Sunray, Texas, where he spent his youth farming. He went on to build a successful career in the oil and gas industry. A dedicated businessman and outdoorsman, Jack also owned and operated a small water company and a cattle ranch on the north side of Lake Meredith.

Throughout his life, he also lived in Laramie, Wyoming, and Ulysses, Kansas, before returning to make his home in Fritch.

Jack loved to work and was always willing to lend a helping hand to whomever needed it. He was happiest when he was "out in the pasture," as he would say, and he had a deep love for trees, planting hundreds of Austrian pines across his ranch over the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one brother, and two sisters.

He is survived by his three sons and their mother, Rhonda Glover; his sons and their families: Cameron Glover and his wife Alesha of Lubbock, Texas; Jerad Glover and his wife Brenda of Pampa, Texas; and Kendal Glover and his wife Bethany of Borger, Texas.

He was a proud grandfather to his three grandchildren, Judson, Ellie, and Tilman. He is also survived by his two brothers, Rocky Glover, Bill Glover and his wife Lon; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

A private ceremony will be held.
