BorgerBRBRInez Petty, 85 of Borger died Saturday Oct. 11th in Amarillo. Funeral services will be 10 am Tuesday Oct. 14th at Riverview Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Gilmore and Rev. Scott Wallace officiating. Burial will be in the garden of Devotion at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRInez was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. Borger resident since 1951. Married Claude Petty Oct. 19, 1940 at Fob, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and helped her husband with the salvage yard.She was preceded in death by her parents William and fannie Skiver, husband in 2001, sisters Julie Barnard, Nellie Sanders, Josie Phillips and Opal Henson.She Lived the last year at Gloden Years Assisted Living where she made many friends that she loved.BRBRSurvivors are sons Mike Petty of Houston and Tim Petty of Borger. Daughters Marcella Hightower of Childress, Tx. , Linda Kittell of Fritch, Tx., Nancy Marshall of Houston and Tammy Gressett of Houston. 12 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. Casket bearers will be Billy Hightower, Mark Hightower, Cory Hightower, Steven Elliot, Brad Hightower, Kevin Kittel, Wendyl Sanders and Craig Petty. Honorary will be Alan Catron, Bill Philips, Nick Botch and Ernest Warren. Visatation will be Monday night 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at MintonChatwell Funeral Directors.BRBRMemorials may be made to Riverview Baptist Church.BRBR
