Ignacio Garcia

Ignacio Garcia, 61, of Borger passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Borger surrounded by family. 

The rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm, Monday in Minton Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Borger.  Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. 

Ignacio was born in Mexico on February 1, 1965, to Juan Garcia-Pacheco and Maria Anita Fernandez Garcia. He worked in construction.  Ignacio loved dancing, going to the casinos and playing corn hole.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Maria Garcia; sister, Maria Auxilio Garcia; and brothers, Pablo and Francisco.

Survivors include his son, Ivan Reyes and wife Eva of Borger; brother, Onesimo Garcia of Borger; sisters, Laura Lopez and husband Agustin, Maria Ana Morado and husband Ricardo, Maria Yolanda Garcia, Margarita Garcia all of Borger; grandchildren, Ivan Reyes, Jr, Princess Reyes, Juan Reyes, and Tatiana Reyes; and a host of extended family.
