Glen Meharg

Glen Ray Meharg, 74, died Saturday, December 4, 2010 in Borger.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at New Beginnings Church with Jeff Laird officiating. Cremation is under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Meharg was born on September 7, 1936 in Bunker Hill, Kansas and had lived in Borger for 33 years. He retired from accounting and served in the U.S. Air Force. He married Phyllis Joyce Radke on July 8, 1955 in Hoisington, Kansas. He enjoyed golf and bowling. He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Florence Meharg, son Leslie Meharg and brother Wendell Meharg.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Meharg of the home, three sons Bruce Meharg of Yorktown, VA, Todd Meharg of Lubbock, David Meharg of Borger, two brothers Walter Meharg of Great Bend, KS, Gene Meharg of Enid, OK, six grandchildren Kenny Davis, Kendelyon Davis, Monica Meharg, Casey Meharg, Morgan Meharg and Jordyn Meharg.
