Glen E. Hancock of Fritch went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 16, 2022.   There will be a private graveside service for family and close friends.  Burial is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Glen was born on April 22, 1939 in Brownfield, Texas to Travis and Katherine (Burns) Hancock.  He married Carol Walker on December 24, 1959 in Littlefield, Texas.  Glen came to the Texas Panhandle from Seminole, Texas in 2001.  He worked for Diamond Shamrock, Huntsman, Amarda Hess and Koch Oil Company.  Glen loved to fish, hunt, and loved to watch Gunsmoke and westerns.  His grandchildren affectionately called him Bompie.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Jannie Moseley, and Jannette St. Clair, his daughter, Stacie Hancock, and his nephews, Johnny St. Clair and Marty Moseley.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Carol; sons, Randy Hancock and Rodney Hancock both of Fritch; grandchildren, Derek Cockrum and wife, Jennifer, Christopher Cockrum and wife, Mattie, and Jordan Sims; great-grandchildren, Keaton, Kason, Kross, Railee, Pistol, Barrett, Joseph, Connor, and Adam.
