Frank “Rick” Easter

Frank “Rick” Easter, age 69, passed away Wednesday February 8, 2023. Rick was born on July 22, 1953 in Maryville, Tennessee. He graduated from Everett High School after joining the United States Marine Corps and serving in Vietnam. Rick worked for Alcoa Aluminum for 21 years in Alcoa, Tennessee. He later began working at erecting wind turbines all over the United States, eventually ending up in Texas. There he met and married Anne McNeill and grew to love the flat and treeless Texas Panhandle.

Rick enjoyed playing harmonica, listening to music and reconnecting with his friends back in Tennessee on Facebook. He loved driving his “dream of a lifetime” car, his 2007 Corvette.

Rick is survived by his wife Anne; son Derrick Easter; daughter Lindsay Easter; brother Jack Easter; sister Pam Hodge and husband Larry; nephew James Easter and wife Cindy and children Lucy and Kris; nephew TJ Hodge and wife K. Marie and children Beau and Hunter.

Extended family includes Lane McNeill; Meg Wood and husband Linc and children Clayton and girlfriend Masyn Reining, Zach and Tyler; Sarah Hunt and husband Mark and children Donevan and Sadie; Allison Dickson and husband Neal and children Harper, John and Mackey; Lynn Drawe and wife Kay, Kim Hoffman and husband Brad and children Colton and Lauren; Rev. Pamela Dykehouse and husband Jason and children Caleb and Eliana.

He is preceded in death by his parents Rev. Frank and Helen Easter as well as his brother Richard Easter.

Services will be held on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church in Panhandle, Texas, officiated by Pastor Josh Light. An additional service and burial will follow at a later date in Maryville, Tennessee.
