They moved to Texas when she was three and lived on a farm where she helped milk cows, plant and harvest, pick cotton and work on windmills with her Dad.  She graduated from Briscoe High School where she enjoyed playing basketball for four years.
She met the love of her life, Herman, they dated until he went into the Army. They were married July 20, 1946,  two years later, one month after his return. They lived in Wheeler until 1952 where Herman worked for SPS. They moved to Pampa and then in 1966 to Borger, where she lived the rest of her life. She and Herman joined the Primitive Baptist Church in Borger in 1975 where they were very active, they especially enjoyed hosting visiting Ministers and their wives at their home during meetings.
Estelle and Herman enjoyed traveling in their camper. They visited twenty-five states and visited Branson, MO twelve times in their pickup and camper.  They had three couples that were lifelong friends that they traveled thousands of miles and made priceless memories.  They also traveled to dozens of church meetings from Tucson, AZ to St. Louis, MO and Virginia Beach and many places in between.
Estelle enjoyed shopping wherever she was and was the keeper of the addresses and phone numbers of family and friends. If you couldn't find them Estelle could usually find them for you.
She was a tireless prayer warrior for her family, friends and country.
