Eliza Lanners

Eliza V. Lanners, 68, died Sunday, August 16, 2009 in Amarillo.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Fritch Assembly of God with Pastor Justin Unwin officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Serenity at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Eliza was born on September 26, 1940 in Wolfforth, TX to Rev. Joe and Maria Villa. She had lived in Fritch for the past three years moving here from Amarillo. She retired from Wal-Mart and was a member of Forrest Hill Assembly of God in Amarillo. She was a giver, prayer warrior, loved her grandkids, was a caregiver, a pastor's wife and an ordained minister. She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Joe Villa, sister - Priscilla Villa, and brother - Joel Villa.

She is survived by her mother Maria Villa of Fritch, sons Fred Miranda of Amarillo, daughter Laura Bashir and husband Tony of Georgia, two brothers Josh Villa and wife, Molly of Amarillo, Abel Villa of Fritch, three sisters Lydia King and husband Jerry of Amarillo, Elizabeth Galley and husband Edwin and Ruth Smith all of Fritch, five grandchildren Joseph Miranda, Daly Miranda, Jacob Miranda, Iiashia and Jordan Bashir and several nieces and nephews.
