Elisa Caroll Sanchez

Elisa Caroll Sanchez, 66 of Fritch passed away on, Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in Fritch. Celebration of life will be at 4:00 pm Friday, October 17, 2025, at Minton Memorial Chapel.

Elisa was born March 8, 1959, in Borger. She worked as a custodian and cafeteria worker at the Sanford Fritch schools. She loved working in her yard, playing games on her phone, shopping, keeping the grand babies, cooking and collecting rocks. She loved Jesus and learning from his Word.  The grandchildren and great grandchildren called her “Wena”.

Preceding her in death are her parents; Andrew Sanchez and Josephine Gomez-Sanchez; Pop; her daughter, Philisha; brothers, Andy Sanchez, George Sanchez, Joe Sanchez and Dennis Sanchez; and great granddaughter Evangeline.

Surviving is her son, Rodney McDowell of Fritch; daughter, Tonya DeLeon and husband Steve of Fritch; sisters are her twin, Elena Montiel and husband David of Fritch, Elida Naslund and husband Rick of Amarillo; grandchildren, Ethian, Devian, Madisian, Quentian and wife Fanny, Xavier, Arianna, Katelynn, Daeman, Dyran, Ceriah, Dominic, Makali, Josh and Steve Jr.; great grandkids, Elijah, Anastasia, Kyrie, Khloe, Keelee, Leo, Symone, KyUius, Valentino, Alex, Eliar, Dayami, and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
