Edwina Gaye Scroggins, 73, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025.

Edwina was born February 12, 1952, in Amarillo, Texas to Eddie Wood and Marteal Holcomb Wood. She married Marlon Scroggins on April 17, 1982, in Amarillo. Edwina found her true passion of being a cosmetologist for over 35 years and owned and operated Tangled Mane salon in Fritch. Upon retiring she worked as a pipeline inspector for 12 years. When she wasn’t making the world a more beautiful place, one head of hair at a time she enjoyed fishing, sewing and quilting. Nothing brought more joy to her life than her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Marteal Wood.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Marlon Scroggins of Fritch; son, Scott Yarger and wife Karyn of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; daughter, Aspen Raney of Amarillo; grandchildren, Devin Yarger and wife Victoria, Kaylee Yarger, Declan Marlin, Lakelan Raney, Portlan Raney; two great grandsons, Hayes, Houston; and her beloved Boston Terrier, Mesa Marie.
