Eddie was the middle of three boys born to Marybelle Wallace Fox and Virgil (Ed) Fox.  He was born in Borger, Texas on September 4, 1949.  Eddie was saved at the age of nine years old and wanted everyone he encountered to know Jesus Christ the same way that he did, and as one of his final requests wanted everyone to know how much he loved his Lord.  He was a long-time member of First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch, Texas.  Eddie was a dedicated loving father, grandfather, and friend.

A lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed going to the lake with his favorite dog, Molly.  Eddie loved working with his hands, and you could find him building all sorts of things, his talents with wood and canvas increased over the years and he excelled in painting and wood carving.  He especially loved painting scenic nature pictures.  His wood carvings included many western themes, knife handles and knifes.

Eddie loved his wife, his brothers, his children, grandchildren, and loved the many friends and family he spent much time with.  He enjoyed laughing and telling stories with all who knew him.  You could always find him giving Heath (the son he never had) a hard time.

He married Vicki Ingram on May 18, 2004.  Eddie worked for the City of Fritch for 26 years in the maintenance department.

Eddie is preceded in death by his mother, Marybelle; father, Virgil; and grandson, Scott Alexander Steagall.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: wife, Vicki Fox of Fritch; two brothers, Steve Fox and wife Lois of Texoma, Texas, Nelson Fox and wife Melinda of Fritch; two daughters, Janet Fox Bridges of Borger, Renee Loftin and husband Bobby of Fritch; two sons, Keith Ingram of Fritch, Kevin Burch and wife Katrina of Amarillo; eight grandchildren, Heath, Shay, Clarissa, Devin, Mason, Taevyn, Hayden, Willow; two great grandchildren, Alex, Scarlett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
