Dorothy Garlington

Lucille Garlington, 91, went to be with her Lord Sunday morning, August 16, 2009.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Sizemore and Bobby Bridges officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Good Shepherd in Westlawn Memorial Park in Borger.

She had been a resident of the Borger area since 1947 and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. Lucille was a member of the Serendipity Home Demonstration Club and loved to quilt, crochet, paint and read her Bible. She married B. L. Garlington May 4, 1940 in Waurika, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband B. L. and two sons James and Wayne.
Lucille is survived by her son Reggie and wife Angie of Spring Creek, TX and daughter Tanya Heidelberg of Borger, two daughters-in-law Bobbie Garlington of Sanford, Charlotte Garlington of Rockwell, 17 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren
