Doris Clem

Doris Jeanetta Clem, 82 of Borger passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in Borger. The celebration of life will be 10 am Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Minton Memorial Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Doris was born April 23, 1940, in Rosebud, Texas to Claudie Lee and Ola Beatrice (Hall) Clem. She worked as a CNA in a nursing home. She loved to write in her journal and especially poems. She had won many awards for her poetry. You can find them at poetry.com.

Preceding her in death are her parents; brothers, James and Bob; sister, Geniva Freeman; son, Eddie Burk; daughter, Gail Gean and three great grandchildren.

Surviving is her daughter, Lisa Scriver and husband Clifford of Humble, Texas; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
