Doretta was born August 6, 1939, in Oklahoma City, OK to William Dexter Driggers and Leslie Ethel (Meek) Driggers. On October 10, 1969, she married J B Tollett in Borger, TX. She was a member of Bissell Chapel in New Hope, Arkansas. She loved reading, sewing, and praising the Lord.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, brothers Carroll Driggers, Virgil Driggers and Vernon Driggers.

Surviving is her daughter Dottie Stevens and husband Keith of Borger. Stepson David Tollett and wife Mary of Baxter Springs, Kansas. Grandchildren Hunter Mays, Colton Mays, Jordan Chaplin, Casy Stevens, Britnay Johnson, Julia Tosh, Phillip Tollett, Rachel Houghtaling, and Brandon Tollett. Thirteen great grandchildren and one on the way.
