Delta Nabours

Delta Lequita Nabours, 87 of Fritch passed away January 28, 2021 in Borger. Memorial services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at First Christian Church in Fritch. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Delta was born October 17, 1933 in Canute, OK to Jessie Alexander and Emma Lee (McDonald) Wallace. She had been a resident of Fritch for 22 years where she was a member of First Christian Church of Fritch. She married Robert Nabours May 4, 1952 in Vernon, TX. She loved to work in flower beds, her kids, grandkids, sewing making quilts and talking on the phone.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Christopher, daughter Carol, siblings Charles, Wilburn, Douglas, Ernest, Marion, Jessie, Lizzie, Margaret, Esther, Annie, Maxine and Willa Faye.

Surviving is sons Robert Nabours Jr of Fritch; Thomas Nabours and wife Sue of Oklahoma City, OK; Alex Nabours and wife Jane of Fritch. Daughters Daisy Barnett and husband Ronald of Pasadena, TX; Angela Blake and husband Don of Texico, NM. 29 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 19 great- great grandchildren.
