Della Ann Viner

Della Ann Viner, 83, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at 10am on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in the Minton Memorial Chapel of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the funeral home in Borger. In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to the Alzheimer's Association, West Texas Chapter, PO Box 16087, Lubbock, Texas, 79490, or to Gracie’s Project (Animal Rescue), 4515 S Georgia St, Amarillo, Texas, 79110.

Della was born November 8, 1941, in Denison, Texas to Lee Rawlins and Maude Brown Rawlins. She married the love of her life, Charles Franklin Viner, on June 10, 1960, in Fritch. Della enjoyed cooking, cleaning, being outdoors and reading. She especially enjoyed traveling and camping with Frank in Red River and Fun Valley. Della was an animal whisperer and loved all animals. Nothing brought more joy to her life than her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Viner; son, David Wayne Viner; grandson, Yancey Viner; brothers, Sanford Rawlins, Don Rawlins, Lee Rawlins, Carl Rawlins; and sister, Leona Cowan.

Survivors include her sons, James Viner and wife Angie of Borger, Jason Viner and wife Pam of Dumas; daughters, Donna Brittain and husband Marty of Palestine, Michelle Ditmore and husband Michael of Pampa, Leslie Mullens and husband Craig of Fritch; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; brother, Charles “Bulldog” Rawlins of Fritch; and a host of extended family.
