Deanna Baker

Deanna Sue Baker, 84, passed from this life Monday, October 17, 2022 in Amarillo.  Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday in Minton Memorial Chapel with Brother Terry Raines officiating.  Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.  Family will receive friends Thursday, October 19, 2022 at the funeral home.

Deanna was born October 2, 1938 to Ralph Woodrow Lane and Virginia Muriel Rogers Lane, she was a 1956 graduate of Phillips High School and married Billy Baker August 1, 1964 in Phillips.  She was a member of Fairlanes Baptist Church and loved to paint and travel, play games with friends and family but mostly she loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sally Schmidt.

Deanna is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years Billy, her sister Nancy Brown of Amarillo; her favorite niece, April Brown and her favorite nephew, Austin Brown.
