Dean Beck

Dean Beck, 83, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, January 14, 2023, in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jerry Moon officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Friday, January 13, 2023, at the funeral home.  Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Dean was born May 17, 1939, in Wheeler, Texas to Wesley James Beck and Opal Mildred Wilkson Beck.  He married Gayle Jean Pirtle on January 20, 1968, in Pampa.  Dean was a member of Biblical Apostolic Church.  He proudly served in the United States Air Force.  Dean enjoyed fishing, wood working, crossword puzzles, playing dominoes, solitaire, and taking the golf cart to go get snuff.

He is preceded in death by his parents Wesley and Opal Beck; wife, Gayla Jean Beck; brothers, Emmit, Bill, Carl; and sister, Frances Flowers.

Survivors include his sons, Ronald Ruttman of Fritch, Johnny Ruttman of Sanger, David Ruttman and wife Cara of Borger; daughter, Deana Moon and husband Terry of Borger; grandchildren, Dezaree Moon, Bethany McKanna and husband Tibbs, Terryn Robledo and husband Randy, Skylar Ruttman, Courtney Ruttman and fiancé Trenton Davis, Terra Moon and fiancé Abner Garcia-Torres; nine great grandchildren; sister, Patricia Guffey and husband Larry of Watonga, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews; a host of extended family; and life long best friend, Joe Hornback.
