Chloella Hilton

Chloella Marie Hilton, 91, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at First Southern Baptist Church of Fritch.  Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.  In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to her church, FSBC of Fritch, Po Box 358, Fritch, Texas 79036.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at the funeral home in Fritch.

Chloella was born August 1, 1929 in Higgins, Texas to Earl Chaney and Edna Beum Chaney.  She married Harold E. Hilton on October 9, 1944 in Borger.  Chloella enjoyed working elections for over 40 years and sewing.  She worked from the telephone company in Borger.  Nothing brought more joy to her life than her family, doing things with them and for them.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Rosco, Onal; sisters, Doneva Milner, Dona Boydston; and son-in-law, Terry Crook.

Survivors include her son, Ronald Eugene Hilton and wife Teecie of Amarillo; daughter, Genella Crook of Fritch; grandchildren, Christy Ward and husband Rickey, Lynsie DenHartog and husband Mike, Nancy Parker and husband Jason, Chad Mullens and wife Elaine, Craig Mullens and wife Leslie; great grandchildren, Andrew Glenn, Barrett Glenn, Christian Ward, Skylar Ward and Laci, Grant Parker, Gage Parker, Jace Mullens, Ellie Mullens, Zane Mullens, Nate Mullens and fiancé Hailey, Zoey Mullens; great-great grandchildren, Hazellynn, Arland, Jasper; and a host of extended family.
