Charolett Ree Dennis, 80, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. Mrs. Dennis will lie in state at the Fritch Funeral Home beginning at 9 am on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to Fritch First Assembly of God Church, 408 S. Ridgeland, Fritch, Texas, 79036.

Charolett was born August 31, 1945, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to Noel Wakefield and Louise Cherry Wakefield. She married Thomas “Tommy” James Dennis on August 6, 1980, in Stinnett. Charolett was a member of Fritch First Assembly of God Church and when the congregation was lucky, she shared her vocal talent occasionally with them. She embodied the definition of a servant’s hearts, always seeking a way to help others. Charolett enjoyed going to church, camping and all dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Louise Wakefield.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy of Fritch; brother, Jackie Wakefield of Borger; sons, Brian Glosson and wife Jady of Fritch, Douglas Glosson and wife Robyn of Warren, Texas, Patrick Glosson and wife Tammy of Cleveland, Texas; eight grandchildren, Amanda Whitley and husband Josh, Jessica Glosson, Mckenzie Schubert, Brianna Glosson, Kaitlyn Smith and husband Stephen, Matthew Barnes, Bryce Glosson, Emily Thomas and husband Stephen; and numerous great grandchildren.
