Charley was born October 27, 1938, in Borger to Charley Boyce Hutchinson, Sr. and Mattie Sue Walker Hutchinson.  He married Alice Faye Lamberson on August 6, 1961, in Borger.  Charley was a member of the Unity Lodge #1242.  He retired as a machinist from Huber in 1989.  Charley had a heart for people and loved sharing the love of Christ with others.  He spent many years playing gospel music for various prison ministries.  Charley was a member of a bluegrass band that traveled all over to entertain people, he loved country music and bluegrass but especially loved gospel music.  He enjoyed fishing, rock hunting, working with metal, wood, and tinkering.  In true Charley fashion he continues to give selflessly even in his death by donating his body to scientific study in the hopes to help others.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Alice of Fritch; brothers, Jeff Hutchinson and wife Sharon of Lawton, Oklahoma, Matt Hutchinson and wife Norma of Dallas; sisters, Sarah Hutchinson and husband Michael Faulkner of Dallas, Katy Russell and husband Mark Lancaster of Denver; and six nieces and nephews.
