Carol Lee Gould

Carol Lee Gould, 77, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Carol was born January 26, 1948, in Dover, Delaware to Stephen Hulinek and Dorothy Lee McNatt. She married Robert Rutledge Gould III on May 13, 1972. The Goulds moved to Borger in 1985 where she worked as an executive assistant at Chevron Phillips. She retired from Chevron Phillips in 2017, moved to Florida in 2020, and spent the following years gardening and travelling. Carol was tirelessly devoted to her family and had a wide empathy for those around her. She spent countless hours caring for seniors in West Texas. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved adoptive mother, Lydia Herschberger; husband, Robert; and sister, Irene. 

Survivors include her daughter, Andrea M. Gould and husband Mike Trowbridge of Denver; son, Robert R. Gould and wife Eva of Germany; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Stout and husband Bill of Deland, Florida, Stephanie Jean Cavanaugh of Tavares, Florida, Patricia Maria Washington of Mineral, Virginia, Joyce Lehan, of Deland, Florida, Shirley Hart of Deland, Florida, Jessica Cossentine and husband Charles of Denver, Colorado; brother; Derik Hulinek and wife Hollie of Bushnell, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
