Brian Hensley

Brian Payne Hensley, 72, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021.

A celebration of his life will be held 4 pm on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Brian was born December 22, 1948 in Borger, Texas to Thurman L. Hensley and Louise E. Hensley.  He married Linda Hilton on May 1, 1982 in Borger.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Borger, Texas.  He was a church elder and a song leader.  Brian loved playing his guitars and collecting knives.  He loved seeing his grandkids.  Brian was a Phillips Blackhawk through and through.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Louise Hensley.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; sons, Allen Mercer and wife Gina of Duncan, Oklahoma, Scott Mercer and wife Chanda of Gainesville, Texas; daughter, Lacy Russell and husband Seth of Amarillo; sister, Penney McKee of Amarillo; niece, Marcy McKee of Louisiana; grandkids, Whitni Sanner and husband Jimmie, Hayeli Pirtle and husband Jeff, Dallen Mercer, Lynedi Mercer, Addison Mercer, Colton Mercer, Slade Russell, Timber Russell, Auburn Russell; and seven great grandchildren.
