Blake Lee Johnson

Blake Lee Johnson, 68, of Borger passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023, in Borger.

Services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Minton Memorial Chapel. Cremation will be under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Blake was born to Fred Curry Johnson Sr. and Henrietta (Brumme) Johnson on September 1, 1954, in Dumas, Texas. He married Sandra Searl on March 21, 1997. He worked as a surveyor for several construction companies. He was a longtime member of the Elks and served as the Exalted Ruler from 1995 to 1996. Blake loved bowling, fishing, and playing horseshoes.

Blake was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Curry Johnson Jr.; and stepdad, Dr William Zaden Coventry.

Surviving are his sons, Thomas Dansby of Lumberton, Texas, Timmy Pritchard of Borger, and Will Johnson of Miami, Texas; daughters, Angela McCoy of Borger, Misti Hill of Borger, Rietta Fernandez of Borger, Misty Matthews of Avery, Texas and Donna Coil of Pampa; twenty-two grandchildren; and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
