Bill N. McLeod, 90, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025.

Graveside services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle. In lieu of flowers, his memory may be honored with a gift to The ALS Association, PO Box 37022, Boone, Iowa, 50037-0022, Interim Home Health and Hospice, 3501 S. Soncy, Suite 134, Amarillo, Texas, 79119, or to a charity of choice. The family would like to extend special thanks to Brenda Fields, Tiana Grant, Raelee Nivens, Mary Grace Rayburn, and the Interim staff for all the compassion and care given to Bill and his family.

Bill was born December 27, 1934, in Pontotoc, Texas to William H. McLeod and Beulah Holloway McLeod. He married Glenna Taylor on June 4, 1954, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bill was a member of First Christian Church of Panhandle. He was very active in serving, teaching Sunday School to being a Deacon. Bill was very active in his community as well serving on the Panhandle Cemetery Board and the as a city councilman for 12 years. He enjoyed tending to his yard, watching Texas Tech Red Raider Football, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Texas Rangers. Nothing brought more joy to his life than his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Beulah McLeod; and nephews, Scott Curtis and Trent Curtis.

Survivors include his wife, Glenna of Panhandle; daughters, Renia Clancy and husband Mark of Amarillo, Katie Hoganson and wife Holly of Amarillo; honorary daughter, Helle Handler Peterson and family of Denmark; grandchildren, Danny Prickett and Gail, Mark Prickett and wife Erin, Jacqulyn Vargas and husband Obed, Kollin Mosley and wife Jocelyn, Kayla Tolbert and husband Bill; great grandchildren, Jesse Prickett and wife Allison, Stoney Prickett, Lawton Mosely, Levi Tolbert, Marlee Mosley; great-great grandchildren, Elliott and Everhett Prickett, another great-great grandson due to arrive in November; sister, Mary Curtis of Panhandle; nephew, Bruce Curtis and wife Cynthia of Panhandle; and a host of extended family.
