Betty Kay Smith, 66, of Fritch earned her wings Tuesday December 21, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Monday, December 27, 2021 at Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors in Borger, Texas.

Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Redeemer Church in Borger, Texas with Ricky Garzon, officiating.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in Resthaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Duncan, Oklahoma.

Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon, Texas.

Betty was born January 10, 1955 in Fort Bragg, NC, to James and Pauline LeCompte. She married the love of her life, Bill Smith, January 23, 1976. She loved her family more than anything in the world. She also enjoyed crafts, shopping, fishing, and tea time with June's Journey. She also loved to talk and tell stories over and over and over, but most of all, she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of Redeemer Church in Borger Tx.

She was preceded in death by her parents James LeCompte and Pauline Stone, two brothers James and Johnny LeCompte, and granddaughter Krissy Arnold. She was also preceded by her in-laws O.H. and Vi Smith.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years Bill Smith of Fritch; 2 daughters Lisa Smith of Duncan, Ok., and Star Helton and husband Jason of Bushland, Tx.; One son Zac Smith and wife Jaimi of Borger, Tx.; 8 grandkids- Kaylie and husband Shane, Samantha, Matthew, Brenna, Gracie, Bronx, Blaze and Briggs; 5 great grandkids; 2 sisters- Kim and Crystal; 5 brothers- Michael, Gregory, Sammy, Timmy and Joey; 2 sister-in-laws, 2 brother in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
