Helen "Bea" Beatrice Lively was born December 20, 1929, in Shamrock, Texas to Willie Albert "Bill" Adkins and Nellie Ward Adkins. She married Roy Lively, Sr. on June 27, 1946, in Mineral Wells and shortly after moved to Borger where she was a wonderful homemaker who devoted her life to raising her children. They were happily married 61 years before he preceded her in death in 2008. She was a faithful member of Gateway Baptist church for 50 years where she built lifelong friendships. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and shopping but nothing brought more joy to her life than spending time with her family and grandchildren who lovingly know her as “Memaw”.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lively, Sr.; parents, Bill and Nellie Adkins; sons, Roy Lively, Jr. and Michael "Mike" Lively; grandson, Joel Lively; and brothers, William "Dub" Adkins and Bill Adkins.

Survivors include her daughters, Regina Austin and husband Gary, D.D. Reece; daughter-in-law, Becky Lively; grandchildren, Amy Hill and husband Clifton, Brian Austin, Brittiany Bowling and husband Giles, Courtney Schulte and husband Brady, Darcy Lively, Clint Lively and wife Ginger, Jeana Edwards and husband David; great-grandchildren, Connor, Patrick, Jentry, Tatum, Max, Jordan, Nora, Clara, Turner and Stephen; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.

Our family would like to express deep gratitude to the staff of Robbins Nest Assisted Living and the nurses of Interim Hospice Care for their loving care during her final years.
