Audra Fae Smith, 91, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025.

Graveside services will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to the American Heart Association or American Stroke Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 or to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 or to the Opportunity Inc/Meals On Wheels, 930 Illinois St, Borger, TX 79007.

Fae was born March 23, 1933, in Garden City, Kansas to Miles Partin and Opal Laughlin Partin. She married Earl LaVern Smith on February 26, 1956, in Garden City, Kansas. Fae was a member of Daughter of the American Revolution and was active in the PTA when her children were in school.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Miles and Opal Partin; husband, LaVern Smith; and brothers, Arnold Partin and Harold Partin.

Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda Sudbrink and husband Tim of Borger, Pamela Flores and husband John of Borger; four grandchildren, Matthew Smith and wife Andraya, Aaron Sudbrink and wife Kaci, Bryan Sudbrink, Jennifer Parker and husband Mike; and eight great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Caprock Nursing and Rehabilitation and BSA Hospice for their care given to Fae.
