Anita VazQuez De Armendariz

Anita Vazquez de Armendariz, 55, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at St. John Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The rosary will be recited beginning at 6 pm on Monday, October 14, 2024, at the funeral home. 

Anita was born June 5, 1969, in Mexico to Luis Vazquez and Aurelia Rojas de Vazquez. She married Jesus Jose Armendariz on September 27, 2010. Anita enjoyed shopping for treasures at garage sales, cooking and reading. Nothing brought more joy to her life than her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Luis Vazquez and Aurelia Rojas de Vazquez.

Survivors include her husband, Jesus Armendariz; brother, Jose Vazquez; sisters, Norma Vazquez, Oralia Vazquez, Laura Vazquez, Dora Vazquez; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
