Andy Lindsey

Andy Clifton Lindsey, 70, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022.

A celebration of his life will be held 3 pm Saturday, March 5, 2022 in the Minton Memorial Chapel in Borger.  Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Andy was born March 22, 1951 in Memphis, Texas to Richard Lindsey and Wyona McAfee Lindsey Barringer.  He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gruver.  Andy enjoyed making hot sauce, jalapeno jelly, riding his Harley, fishing and taking road trips.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Billy Tobin Cantrell; daughter, Stacy Jo Murray; brothers, Arthur Ray Lindsey, Sam Porter Lindsey; and sisters, Rita Lindsey and an infant sister.

Survivors include his canine companions, Peanut and Smokey; son, Opie Lindsey; daughters, Rayne Arnold, Gay Lee Lindsey, Amber Johnson; grandchildren, Zoe, Kammi, Elizabeth, Cody, Morgan, Cortney, Andrew, Clifton; one great grandchild; brother, Richard Lindsey; sisters, Virginia Mann, NG Bellar; best friend, Kathy Lindsey; and a host of extended family and friends.
