Lorene Kossey, 91, died Thursday, August 31st, 2006 in Fritch, Texas.BRBRGraveside services will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 2nd, in The Garden of Devotion at Westlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Don White and Rev. Calvin Winters officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.BRBRMrs. Kossey was born on June 16, 1915 in Sherman, Texas and had been a resident of Fritch for 45 years, moving here from Phillips, Texas. She was a seamstress for Borger Laundry and Vogue Cleaners. She married Leonard Kossey on September 28, 1934 at Abilene, Texas, and he preceded her in death in May, 1983. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch.BRBRHer survivors include three sons - Eugene Kossey and wife, Alice of Fritch, Bill Kossey and wife, Chrystal of Waxahachie, Tx., Jerry Kossey of Ennis, Tx., two daughters - Martha Garcia and Virginia Carlisle and husband, Mickey of Borger, brother - Tom Jasper of Sugarland, Tx., several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.BRBRCasket bearers will be Danny Carlisle, Steven Kossey, Mike Kossey, Shane Allen, Heath Carlisle, Preston Farmer, Garrett Farmer and Trey Farmer.BRBRMemorials may be made to your favorite charity.
