Ada Fleming

Ada Ruth Fleming, 83 of Borger went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in Borger, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday, April 7, 2023, at Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. There will be a family and friends visitation on Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:00 in the evening at the funeral home.

Ada was born October 10, 1939, in Wilson, Oklahoma to Alva George and Cora Dorotha (Segroves) Alexander. She married Sherman Warren Fleming February 24, 1956 in Borger. They co-owned and operated Fleming TV and Appliance.  She loved watching her grandkids and great grandkids, gardening, cooking and making rolls with a touch of potatoes.

Ada was preceded in death by her parents, husband , daughter Veneica Sherrod, and sisters Earlene Alexander and Marlene Thompson.

Surviving are sons, Greg and wife Janet of Borger, Randy and wife Joy Beth of Hurst, Texas; daughter, Sherry and husband Alan Storm of Fritch: two brothers, Fred Alexander and wife Anne of Odem, Texas, Daryl Alexander of Meridian, Oklahoma; sister,  Alvena Wilson of Pueblo, Colorado, nine grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren.
