Blade Long

Blade Griffin Long, 41 of Panhandle passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022, in Panhandle. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle. No services have been set.

Blade was born to Delwin and Connie (Griffin) Long on June 20, 1981, in Borger. He married Yvonne Davis on February 13, 2013 in Santa Fe, NM. He was a resident of Panhandle for 12 years He was in operations and a volunteer fireman for Valero McKee Refinery for six and a half years then in operations for Phillips 66 in Borger. He loved woodworking, fishing and grilling. He was a member of Community Crossroads Church in White Deer.

Preceding him in death is his mother, Connie Long; grand parents, Dub and Margie Long and a brother, Doug Long.

Surviving is his loving wife, Yvonne; father, Delwin Long and wife Lyndol; daughter, Sarah Leven and husband John of Panhandle; brother, Dustin Long of Stephenville, TX; granddaughter Larke Leven and grandson Mack Leven.
