Herschel was born July 3, 1957 in Strong, Arkansas to Grace Everettine Ball West and Herschel Ferrel West. A little stubborn, some may say gruff, but we all loved him. He enjoyed doing artwork, gardening, fishing and hunting for artifacts. Herschel always had a special place in his heart for his cats.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his daughters, Tiana West of Borger, Brandy Baker and husband Bruce of Fritch; son, Donovan West of Borger; nine grandchildren; one great grandson; sister, JoAnn Watson of Amarillo; two nieces; three great nieces; one great-great nephew; and a host of extended family.
Brandy, Tiana, and Donovan.
My deepest condolences to you. I pray for comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Sure going to miss you Ferrel. I will always remember the summer I helped you roofing, or what you would call "man's work" Rest easy friend. You've earned it.
