God bless u in many ways,u will be missed, til we meet again!!
My heart is broken that my beautiful sweet adorable nephew, Marcus Ray Jones, is no longer physically on this earth. How I so wanted him to visit North Carolina, hang out with me and fish to his heart’s content. I sometimes referred to him as “Nephew Senior” since he was the eldest. I was 13 when he was born and I remember him looking like a living breathing doll. He was so easy to love from the beginning and that never changed. Marcus so loved, LOVED his family and he took great pride in assisting with the care of his mother, which she greatly appreciated. Truzell and I would always discuss what a “mother hen” Marcus was when it came to caring for her. She so enjoyed their coffee time, the trips to Wal-Mart, taking her for a snow-cone and so much more. How he loved his mother. Marcus told me he moved back to Borger to help care for his mother – and most certainly did that! He would call his Auntie (me) just to check in and to say “I Love You” – even shouting it in the background when he knew his mother was on the phone with me. I was honored to be Marcus’ aunt and friend and will always Love him and will never forget him. I Love You Marcus – Aunt Retta
