Dolores Fern Ross
June 9, 1941 - February 25, 2010
Fern Ross, 68, of Fritch died Thursday, February 25, 2010 in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa with Leigh Cotten Chacon, niece w/Seventh Day Adventist Church and Pastor Richard C. Dye of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Amarillo officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Mrs. Ross was born on June 9, 1941 in Mangum, OK and had been a Fritch resident for 46 years. She married Veril Dean Ross on April 26, 1963 in Pampa, and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and was a lifetime member of the Fritch Arts and Crafts, also member of Creative Arts Club and Magic Plains Arts Council. She was also preceded in death by her brother Bobby Cotten and parents - Roy and Lucy Cotten.
She is survived by one son - Clifford Ross and wife Jackie of Port Aransas, daughter - Valorie Kelly and husband Christopher of Fritch, two sisters - Karen Taylor of Fritch, Charlotte Harrington of Amarillo, two granddaughters - Andi Ross and Chris and Brittney Ross all of Port Aransas, two grandsons - Scott Selby and Benjamin Selby both of Fritch, great-grandson - Hayden Waddell of Port Aransas.
Memorials may be made to the Hutchinson County Museum, 618 N. Main in Borger.
