Kenneth Owen Dennis, 76, died Monday, January 25, 2010 in Amarillo.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Panhandle Funeral Home with Rev. Barney Railsback, Pastor of Irwin Rd. Baptist Church in Amarillo officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Mr. Dennis was born on August 11, 1933 in Harmon Co., OK. He graduated from Arnett High School in 1954 and served in the US Army as a paratrooper. He worked for the City of Amarillo and n 1974 he moved to Panhandle where he did farm work. In 1996, he moved back to Amarillo where he had a lawn mower repair service. He enjoyed fishing and making fishing lures and weights. He enjoyed playing dominos and telling stories about his brothers and sisters and other members of his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl & Etta Dennis, and three brothers - Jerry, Don and Joe Dennis.

He is survived by four brothers - Tom Dennis and wife Sharon of Panhandle, Bruce Dennis and wife Karen of Hollis, OK, Chess Dennis and wife Joanna and Charles Dennis all of Amarillo, two sisters - Winona Capshaw of Cushing, Ok, Reba Kay Reining and husband James of Panhandle. and many nieces, nephews and good friends.
