Sadden by the news of Pat's passing. She was such a strong dynamic personality. Many times I was happy to hear her voice on the radio. I knew the patient I was bringing in was going to get the best ER nurse. She had a love for bites coming into ER. I brought her the only inland shark bite recorded in Borger. (My son put his hand thru a shark mouth souveneir and required stitches.) She logged it as a shark bite in the official ER log book and then laughed about it. May she rest in peace and the Lord comfort her family. She will be missed.
