I met Jerald when I worked as a teacherdirector of the Borger Workshop. That was back in the late 70s. Jerald was alot of fun. I remember taking him bowling and to track and field meetsSpecial Olympics. I only saw this because my sister Katie, also Down Syndrome, passed away last week. Her services were last Thursday. Katie lived in a group home in Amarillo. I wondered if Jerald did as well.
Anyway my prayers are with the family and friends. Both Jerald and Katie are in heaven now. I find that comforting...two of my favorite people.
