Freddie Elton Bales, 62 of Borger, died Saturday, February 9, 2008 in Amarillo, Texas.
Services are pending with MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Baleswas born on September 11, 1945 in Borger, and had been a lifetime resident of Borger. He was an oilfield worker for Gunn Campbell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie Dessie Bales, and two brothers, Jackie Johnnie Bales, and his wife, Dorothy Collier Bales.
He is survived by two sons - Jackie Bales of Borger, Johnnie Bales of Borger, daughter - Midgie Bales of Phoenix, AZ, two sisters - Romona Anderson of Garland, Tx., Norma Hale of Stinnett and three grandchildren.

Freddie was a friend and a good worker. Sam has known Freddie for several years and always thought a lot of him.
Sam saw Freddie about 2 or 3 years ago, they always loved
talking about the oilfield and laughed about the old days.
